Featherbeams should not be used as support.
This limited warranty by Featherbeams llc, applies only to and may be enforced only by the
Original purchaser (the “Owner”).
Installation of Featherbeams by anyone other than Featherbeams installers is not cover by this warranty.
Cleaning and maintenance: When Featherbeams are shipped with finishes, only light detergent and water can be use for cleaning. NO heavy chemical cleaner, especially mineral spirit, turpentine, or any kind of solvent should be used on the Featherbeams. Featherbeams are not warranted against color changes due to exposure to sunlight, artificial ultraviolet light sources, smoke, fumes or any chemicals. Responsibility remains with the Owner to test for and determine chemical compatibility with any proposed application.
This limited warranty solely to replacement of the defective product but not liable for damage or failure of the Products as a result of, improper installation of the Product or its structural supports; movement, settlement, distortion, warping or cracking of the Product structural supports or accessories used in connection therewith; physical abuse, vandalism, riot, insurrection, improper maintenance, use or incompatible accessories; or other products that cause a Product defect or failure to occur; pollution, acid rain, application of harmful chemicals or vapors applied to the Product; or ordinary and expected weathering due to exposure to the elements; which for purposes of this Warranty is defined to be fading, chalking or darkening of the surface of the Product due to exposure to ultraviolet light and extremes of atmospheric conditions that are unique to and may vary in each geographic location
All claims under this Limited Warranty must be made within 90 days from the time that the defect is discovered and while the Product is in place. Featherbeams shall be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and test the Product, its installation, and the environment in which it was used prior to removal by the original purchaser. Failure to comply with these notice and inspection provisions shall void all warranties with regard to the Product.
THE MANNER IN, WHICH FEATHERBEAMS ARE USED, THE PURPOSE TO WHICH THEY ARE PUT, ANY TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES, ARE BEYOND THE CONTROL OF FEATHERBEAMS.LLC . OWNER IS RESPONSIBLE TO DETERMINE WHETHER THEY ARE SUITABLE FOR OWNER’S INTENDED USES. UNLESS FEATHERBEANS.LLC OTHERWISE AGREES IN WRITING, ALL INFORMATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IS WITHOUT WARRANTY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. WARRANTY, OWNER ASSUMES AND HEREBY EXPRESSLY RELEASES FEATHERBEAMS FROM ALL LIABILITY, IN TORT, CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, INCURRED IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF FEATHERBEAMS PRODUCTS, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ONLY APPLIES TO PRODUCTS SOLD AND USED IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE FEATHERBEAMS SOLE WARRANTY APPLICABLE TO THE PRODUCT. ANY OTHER CLAIMS FOR DAMAGE OR LOSS, DIRECT, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL, WHATEVER THE CAUSE THEREOF, ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED FROM THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
